Interview with Daughtry (Part 1 of 2)
After selling millions of albums in 2007, Daughtry figured it would be a good time to give back a little.
The band played a special showcase at The Beatles Revolution Lounge in Las Vegas last night in support of the ONE Campaign, a global charity that fights AIDS and extreme poverty around the world. Tickets for the performance were auctioned on eBay, which raised $20,000 for the organization.
After the soundcheck, Daughtry took questions from me and a couple of reporters that gave Chris, Josh Steely and Joey Barnes the opportunity to talk candidly about their support for ONE. Listen to what the guys had to say in the player below. More of the interview and some of my exclusive video footage coming up on Wednesday.
(Thanks for emailing your questions for Daughtry. He wanted to stay on message and discuss the ONE Campaign and preferred not to take questions about American Idol unfortunately.)
