When Jake Met Dolly

On December 26, all those lucky British TV viewers can watch the T4 special When Jake Met Dolly, which features Scissor Sisters' Jake Shears and his lifelong idol Dolly Parton.
The country singer was recently in London to promote her 2008
Backwoods Barbie Tour and to launch the U.K. arm of her children's
charity project Imagination. "Dolly talks freely to Shears about her extraordinary life and career, even
permitting him an eye-popping winter wonderland walk through her
camp-as-Christmas traveling wardrobe," according to a statement.

He told me he met Dolly awhile back, he set up a meeting to meet her and she was wonderful. He said excitingly, "oh my god, wouldnt it be great if I produced dance track for her." Hopefully that is going to happen sometime. We both talked about our love of her 70's pop albums.

This is classic! I'd not seen this before... I'd love to hear Jake & Baby Daddy produce a song with her!
Dolly actually has our Temposhark CD. She came to London about 3 weeks ago and one of my family members was working with her on a literacy campaign for kids and they gave her my album... but sadly I missed out on meeting her by like 20 minutes... next time!
But just the thought that she has my album RULES! :) How can anyone not love her?
