The Wednesday Punch: Róisín Murphy, Celine Dion, Jay-Z, Mika, Amy Winehouse, Anouk
Today, I have some hot links for you to check out. I'm leaving Las Vegas in a bit to travel back home where I will be for a couple of days before I cross the Atlantic where I will be for 6 days to make stops in Amsterdam, Munich and Cannes. Posts will continue to come at you, but they might show up at odd times. I will blog the long-awaited Róisín Murphy podcast on Friday. It will be 30 minutes of pure Róisín glory so make sure to check it out. The clips of my interview with Duran Duran will be showing up soon too.
Thankfully, Róisín Murphy recovered quickly from her accident in Moscow and was back on stage this weekend. What a trooper!
Perez Hilton might be reading this blog. Ch-ch-check it out. I'm glad that good music gets around.
Hype Williams directs another amazing video for Jay-Z's new single "Blue Magic" that features Pharrell.
Take a chance on her. Listen to Celine Dion's entire new album "Taking Chances" on AOL a full week before the formal album release.
Download free movie trailers of new DVDs by Mika and Amy Winehouse on 7Digital.
Charlie Waller & Mark Ronson (with BBC Concert Orchestra) cover Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" at Electric Proms. It's eclectic indeed.
Free MP3: Jenny Dalton "Bad Day Vs. Nyteowl." This is very obscure, but cute electro.
British R&B crooner Craig David is inspired by David Bowie on his new single "Hot Stuff."
Dutch powerhouse DJ Tiesto goes a little indie and mixes up Jose Gonzalez' "Crosses" and Tegan & Sara's "Back In Your Head."
Armin van Buuren, another hot Dutch DJ, is crowned the World's Number One DJ by DJ Magazine. Armin will be releasing his new mix compilation "Universal Religion 2008: Live from Armada at Ibiza" on December 4th
