Free Download: Grande "We Did It All"
Here's something a little different for your Monday morning.
Check out "We Did It All" by Norwegian pop singer Grande. The song is taken from his upcoming debut album "Uppers, Downers, Screamers & Howlers" that will be out in stores in Norway on November 19.
Inspired by artists as diverse as Duke Ellington and Ultravox, Grande (whose full name is Kjetil Grande) first picked up a guitar when he was 15 years old. He tried to learn how to play from his mom's Lillebjørn Nilsens Guitarbook, but he "skipped the first pages of the book, cause I didn't want to learn no chords," he writes on his MySpace page. "I tell ya, there wasn't [sic] too many cool licks in Lillebjørn Nilsens GuitarBook, but as soon as I stopped doin' my homework I figured out how to play."
"We Did It All" is a fun, snappy guitar ditty that shows off Grande's falsetto that he is able to keep up throughout the song.

“Ella Rouge blends nuances of Elton John, Scissor Sisters and a modern Billy Joel…infectious Scandic-pop!”

It turns out that the recipe for rock & roll success isn't a very difficult one at all.
Simply take six talented musicians and isolate them in a cozy studio on an island in the Baltic Sea.
Add some outrageous weather, complete with hurricane-force gales, to help concentrate frisky young
minds on the task at hand. Sprinkle in a variety of impromptu magical musical moments, and voila you
have the formula for the amazing self-titled debut album from the sextet of Swedes known as Ella Rouge.
Enjoy New Music From Sweden, I did!
