Listen to Sonny J "Cant Stop Moving"

Sonny J. took a page from The Go! Team's playbook and cooked up a kaleidoscopic delight full of recycled, soulful bits and nagging hooks.

The British DJ first posted "Can't Stop Moving" on his MySpace page a few months ago when it was noticed by the jocks over at BBC Radio One. They started playing the tune and a label frenzy followed. Sonny ended up signing with EMI's Stateside soul label.

The song is taken from his debut album "Disastro" that will be out on October 1. Sonny recorded the album in his "beach hut" and a press release boasts that it is "a record of dazzling dexterity, featuring rapping French schoolchildren, old seaside cabaret stars, hypnotists and local drunks, all washed down with healthy doses of inspiration from bizarre, dusty records that have been unearthed by a man with a heart and a home for forgotten souls." Well put together, yet lacking magnetism/appeal for my ears

Classy tune that hooks your interest - have downloaded it so I can use it to teach a Primary school class how to dance with style ;)
