Free Download: Kingdom "Dance It Off"

"A gay contribution to hip-hop is long overdue," Brooklyn-based hip hop artist Kingdom writes ArjanWrites.com.

He joins an emerging group of other hip hop homos like QBoy. Mirror Boiyz, Sgt Sass, Deadlee and God-Des who add an alternative new flavor to the hip and happening genre.

Kingdom, born Ezra Rubin, set out to make a "gay hip hop club banger" with his new tune "Dance It Off" and what he created is just that. It is a cocky, poppin' jam that features the fierce delivery of lady MC Melissa Burns and Telfar.

Kingdom has been producing beats for 10 years, and singing and rapping for the past couple of years. He writes me that his friends and him are fans of hip-hop, crunk and dance music. "I created the beat and the melodies, Melissa Burns thought of the "dance it off" hook and the rest of the lyrics were written around that hook. Basically we wanted to make a hip-hop club banger with a gay undertone."
