The Friday Punch: Watch. Live Earth. Tomorrow.
Check out this the video for "Eyewater" by Cassius and Pharell Williams that was directed by Kincaid. I figured this would be an appropriate song to kick off the gigantic Live Earth weekend.
The 7-continent, 24-hour media extravaganza is expected to reach more than 2 billion people in every corner of our planet who will be watching and hearing the shows on television, radio and the internet.
In the United States, Live Earth airs on Bravo TV and other NBC channels throughout the day, starting at 2 a.m. ET.
You can also tune in to XM Radio that will be broadcasting the concerts on their web site. You can sign up for a 3-day trial account and listen to all the shows around the world on different channels.
Virtual pop group Genki Rockets will open the big Live Earth day in Japan with their poptastic "Heavenly Star"

Justin Timberlake and Simon Le Bon will perform
together. Pure Hotness. MTV UK reports that Timberlake will join Duran
Duran to perform one of their new tracks that was produced by
Timbaland. Duran Durans set list: "Planet Earth," "Ordinary World," "Night Runner," and "Falling Down."

Madonna's line-up in London will include "Hey You," "Hung Up" and "La Isla Bonita." A bit of a surprise.

Many mixed messages about the show in Rio de Janeiro. Some reports say its off, others reports say it is still on. The issue at hand is that the Brazilian authorities have major safety concerns with thousands and thousands of people packed on the beach. Lenny Kravitz and Macy Gray are scheduled to perform.

I´ve wathcing some interviews about global warming, trying to get into the whole live earth thing.
