Free Download: iio "Rapture 2007" (Starkillers Remix)
"Rapture" by New York based dance duo iio is probably one of the most recognizable dance tunes of the last ten years. The song (and its dozens and dozens of remixes) remains a favorite pick among DJs looking to sweep the dance floor. A shiny new version of the song, titled "Rapture 2007," is included on "Reconstruction Time: The Best of iiO Remixed" compilation disc that hit stores last week.
The disc not only includes iio's ubiquitous dance hit, but also features some of their lesser known gems such as "Is It Love," "Chasity" and "Kiss You." Starkillers (aka Nick Terranova) injected a heavy dose of potent house right into the heart of "Rapture 2007" to create a throbbing dance anthem that gives the track a whole new life.
