Stream New Kelly Clarkson Single
Stream Kelly Clarkson's tight new single "Never Again" here. The track was produced by David Kahne (The Bangles, Stevie Nicks) and will appear on Clarkson's upcoming third album "My December."
Lyrically, it's "Since U Been Gone" all over again. It appears she still has the same axe to grind with her former lover. "I hope the ring you gave to her turns her finger green. I hope when you are in bed with her, you think of me. I would never would wish bad things, but I don't wish you well. Never again will I love you," Clarkson fumes with rage and passion.
Muscially, it is rougher, more rock-driven and the chorus has a killer hook. Clarkson sounds great on it, and particularly during the bridge of the song she takes the time to show off her diva pipes. In an interview with MTV News, Clarkson explains how her rockier sound came about. "This record is going to be different, it's not really how a pop star would make an album, it's more like how a band would make an album," she says. "Everything doesn't have to sound like bubblegum ear candy. I mean, I love bubblegum ear candy, but it's great to have a break from that."
Listen to "Never Again." It will be huge.

It's horrible. Just break out some Pat Benatar - she sings better and is more authentic.
