Stream Faithless ft. Cat Power "A Kind Of Peace"
After Faithless stunned me with the video for their new single "Bombs" (one of my fave videos of 2006), the group once again leaves a lasting impression with the new electro ballad "A Kind Of Peace" that features the indestructible folk singer Cat Power. The song appears on Faithless' new album "To All New Arrivals." The contrast between the soothing, sterile musical programming and Cat's smokey, melancholic vocals is what makes it so special.

I have this CD too and this song is what I've been listening to all day.. the way she sings it, so gently and calmly is what makes it special. I love Faithless! They're one of few acts whose lyrics have any spiritual or social value; listening to them is not only enjoyable but often reminds me about God and self improvement. Interesting, isn't it?

hey,
where could I find the lyrics to "a kind of peace"? this song got under my skin, it's in my head, it's in my heart... a fantastic track.
