Free Download: Soulwax "Miserable Girl"
Belgium brothers David and Stephen Dewaele are finally releasing their "Nite Versions" remix album in the U.S. this September. Dance aficionados might be familiar with their innovative dance-rock sounds and the mixes they've done for Gorillaz, LCD Soundsystem and Daft Punk. The guys created an album full of twelve inch mixes (or so called "nite versions") of their most popular tracks following the practice of many rock bands in the '80s. The group went back into the studio to re-record all of the album tracks in one take. So this is anything but an overproduced effort, which gives this dance album a raw rock spirit that is perfect in its imperfections. The guilt-free MP3 download of "Miserable Girl" is a fitting tastemaker of the album. "Nite Versions" will be in stores on September 19.
