Watch Exclusive Keane Live Performance
Watch the latest installment of AOL Sessions for an exclusive live performance of Keane in the AOL studios. The band perform tracks from their new album "Under The Iron Sea" including "Is It Any Wonder," "Nothing In My Way," "Crystal Ball," "Atlantic" and "The Frog Prince." This fantastic live footage shows why I have so much respect for Keane. Whether you're into this new album or not, this group sounds live as good as in the studio proving that they are no soundboard creation. "Under The Iron Sea" is in stores next Tuesday. On a related note, Keane will be performing and autographing CDs at Borders Columbus Circle in Manhattan on Friday, June 23. (Tom photo courtesy of Joe McGorthy)

I agree That Keane are are a great live band, but don't forget there is also a laptop helping to flesh out the sound in their live shows. They are playing a special gig at a small club in Toronto on June 26th which should be fantastic.
Cheers,

Actually, they've not been relying on the laptop nearly as much in recent gigs - which is cool
Arjan, I remember you writing a while ago saying that you'd done an interview with Tom. Has it been published yet, and if so where can we find it?
Thanks! :-)

Dear Arjan
I have just recently heard about your show and I was wondering if you would be so kind as to do me a special favour.
Could I ask whether you are planning to do any further live interviews or radio sessions with Keane in the future - given that their third album is due out later in the year - and if so, would it be possible for myself and a friend to come and watch?
My friend and I are devoted Keane fans and would love to meet them one day - Tom Chaplin in particular, whom we adore. We have followed them throughout their music career and would love to see them perform in the studio. I know that they have given live performances in studios on previous occasions. Is there any chance that you may be organising a similar event with them again?
My friend and I would love to experience a live interview first hand, and if it was with Keane it would be like a dream come true for us. I understand that as interviews take place in the studios, it may be difficult for people to view the session, but we would be happy even to peer through a window while they were performing if that was necessary!!!
In return I am inviting you to listen to the disastrous CD that I recorded on the Karaoke in Benidorm recently. I decided to sing Everybody’s Changing as a tribute to my favourite band. It seemed like a good idea at the time and didn’t think it sounded too bad, until they sent me the copy of the recorded version. I was utterly horrified at the results!
If you can see your way to granting our greatest wish, and if you are interested in hearing the CD, please let me know and I will send it to you. It might give you and your listeners a good laugh if nothing else!
Yours hopefully
Linda
