Free Download: The Presets "Are You The One?"
The Presets are finally releasing their debut album "Beams" on Modular Records on April 18. This full-length effort is the follow-up to 2003's "Blow Up" (and 2005's "Girl And The Sea") that established Kim Moyes and Julian Hamilton as two of the most innovative artists coming from Down Under. The group describes the music on "Beams" as "spazzzdancefagrock" with its emotive synth ballads and pulsating dancefloor stompers. The Presets have made the crazy-fun single "Are You The One?" available as a free mp3 download. Get it today to get a taste of "Beams."

They've also released a 2005 EP called "Girl and the Sea"...

Ahhh, the vagaries of distribution… I've had the album for 6 months.
It's pretty good. The high points are the singles (Are You the One and The Girl and the Sea).
If you have a chance, check out the video for Are You the One. Some wry humour and clever digs. Totally my bag.

Is "Pretty Little Eyes" on this album too? This is one of my favorite Presets-songs...
