Free Download: The Presets "Girl And The Sea" (Cut Copy Mix)

Arjanwrites Thepresets

The Presets are a Sydney-based duo who were formed in 2003, and after putting together a demo EP, were signed to Aussie label Modular. Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes released their debut "Blow Up" in November of 2003. The group's dark electro rock can be compared to the music of The Faint, Depeche Mode and Cabaret Voltaire. In fact, the best way to describe The Presets' music is to say that it is electro pop delivered with rock and roll aggression that is very danceable. The group will release the 5-song EP "Girl And The Sea" this month along with remixes of Cut Copy and Captain Comatose. The release of their full-length album "Beams" is slated for release in April.
