Free Downloads: Kirsty Hawkshaw "Just Be Me" & "Blackout"

Most of you will probably know Kirsty Hawkshaw from her vocal contributions to some of DJ Tiesto's recent dance hits, including his compelling trance pop track "Just Be." Before Hawkshaw ventured out as a solo artist, she was part of the popular ambient-house outfit Opus III that had a few underground hits in the early nineties. After her split from Opus III, the British singer lent her voice to Orbital's "Halcyon" and "Lush."

"Meta-Message" is Hawkshaw's first full-length solo album that finally gives her the opportunity to  grab the entire spotlight. And rightfully so. The record prominently features her arresting voice wrapped in atmospheric pop trance productions. Stand out tracks are James Holden's mix of "Fine Day," the dance floor stomper "Sincere For You" and the poppy "Reach For Me" that is released as a single.
