How much more teasing do we have to endure? Instead of launching her new video on MTV's Total Request Live today, Madonna just showed a 14 second preview of the video for "Hung Up." The star commented that the footage is still in the editing room and might turn out to be one of her best videos ever. Inspired by Saturday Night Fever, the video appears to take place in an arcade hall while Madonna plays Dance, Dance Revolution with some her friends. (Pre-order Madonna "Confessions On A Dancefloor" here.)

Looks great. I'm hoping for some scenes a la Ray of Light disco and that one disco scene in one of Kylie's videos (I'm quite sure it's Kylie).

this is a great autumn for Icons! Goldfrapp, Depeche Mode, Kate Bush, Eurythmics and Madonna. my head might explode.
video will be infectious as the song, by the look of things.

Who was the last star at her "level" on TRL to promote a CD? Is it just me or did she look like she didnt want to be there? I would imagine she really learned a lesson from her last release.

I pre-ordered the cd off of iTunes and got the download of "Hung Up" but it sounds like crap!! The quality is horrible and worse then the leaked version from last week. Anyone else have this problem?

I think Kylie is a much better icon than Madonna anyday of the week. More consistent and less crazy. And her accent is real...

I love the song, but don't like this video!

I love that leather jacket Madonna's wearing in that clip. It's like she's got her organic armour on.

How we can compare Madonna to Kylie? Because it seems Madonna is trying to copy Kylie in some ways. The video (like Kylie's Giving You Up, her red hair on the cover (like Kylie in Put Yourself in My Place, Madonna's confess-phone-thing like Kylie in Confide In Me, her Disco-Sound like Kylie in Light Years and soon...)

...yyyyyeah, uhhh... i'm still trying to figure out what kind of lack of existence someone must be experiencing to actually go out of their way to find a madonna board simply to demean her and place kylie over her... that's just insanity. anyone who knows anything about music (take it from a musician) knows that it's madonna who has inspired such others as Kylie, for one thing. for another, it's fucking madonna. like it or not, she does what she wants and the whole world watches in wonder. if you like kylie so much, go get her name tattooed on yer forehead and find a board about her. until then, stop hating.

#2. i will say my favourite madonna is definitely the one who bounced all over the place with braelets up to her shoulders, earrings down to her tits and moles for days, belting out "Into The Groove" and making sure people were looking at her. however, this is still madonna and we can't unravel time very easily so, deal! i am. anyway i wish i could finally find out when this fucking video is supposed to be premiering. i'm switching between logo, vh1 and mtv while i sit here and google my sick ass off. if i don't see something soon, i swear i'm just gonna roll up a fat one and go back to bed.
