Considering that Kylie copied the
well-known Madonna corset from 1998 as her main costume in Showgirl , speaks volumes.
Its about time Madonna ripped her off. Let her know how it feels.
Of course, Madonna can move on next project and use her originality and creativity.
Minogue , on the other hand, will have to find a new Willie Baker,
to find her next image change.

To "poptrash member" comment, i'm just stunned by your stupid comment about the fact that Madonna is no.5 at the chart right now, and Kylie is at 42... Maybe it's because Madonna has a new single out and Kylie didn't had one for a year now??? You forget that the same Kylie song was top 10 when it just came out in the U.K... and it is quite remarkable that Kylie manage to stay at the top 100 even without a new single out for so long... Let's see where Madonna's song will be in a year from now!

uh.. sorry Dan, Kylie is NOT Queen of pop, or will she ever be! she's had her day in the sun I'm afraid and now get over it and accept it..Kylie's not even the Princess of pop as she's been replaced by Britney Spears. Come back to me when Kylie sells 200 million records worldwide, then you can announce her as 'the Queen'. and er, no Kylie's got no class really as Madonna is the most loved female icon all time. it's a bit hard to swallow for you I know, but reality bites I guess.

Matt, luv, keep deluding yourself. kylie is as ugly as sin. pre cancer she was pretty doll, i agree. but now without the looks, there's absolutely no appeal to her. Madonna is looking better than ever and perhaps you know this and has sparked a bit of jealousy in you. I know hurts to see kylie and old frump and see Madonna who is older look hotter and younger.

Kylie is manufactured overrated dross in comparison and she should just die the death I'm afraid. we need more people in this industry with genuine singing and artistic talent than the likes of kylie flooding the market with their put on 'smiles' and their minimal songwriting talent and equally minimal musical ability. Kylie is not cut from the same cloth I'm afraid and can't cut the mustard when it comes to competing with more musically gifted and artistically credible artists. Kylie was always destined to be a manufactured pop dolly and 'celebrity' than a genuine artist with a passion for music brimming with artistic integrity. I hope she dies the death after this new record. Maybe everyone still cares cause of her brush with cancer??

Kylie is an amazing entertainer... You just have to see one of her concerts to be amazed at her talent!
She does write her music, and she does have control over her career, it's been like that for over a decade now. Kylie is way more beautiful than Madonna, with hair or without hair... She just recovered from cancer for god sake, the hair will grow anyway! Madonna is great, but Kylie is definitely the closest to be the real perfect queen of pop, not Shitney Spears, and not Christina or any other B-list American artists... KYLIE ALL THE WAY!

I like Madonna lot her music is fantastic so is Kylie's but what Kylie's got over Madonna is class and great looks, Madonna was at her best in the 80's, Kylie is at her best now so I wouldnt say I am jealous, maybe you are just biased??

In my opinion i think Madonna still rocks i cant say anything abt kylie. But madonna's confessions tour i think its the best tour ever happened except that jewish guy singing in the concert that part was useless. Kylie is finished. she's not even good looking anymore. Madonna funnily enough looks waaaaay HOTTER than Minogue. I guess some people age better. Kylie is just about good marketing technique and over-exposure.

Bleh. Kylie hasn't got anything over Madonna except perhaps that she is a bit younger than her but still, she doesn't win in that department as she looks bloody terrible these days. Madonna's always been consistently good and has always consistently written and put out great music. I've never really been enamoured by Kylie's stuff tho or really got into it. She's had a few moments of greatness but there's been alot of misses more than hits. and still, it's not as if some of her best music was ever written by her. Poor Kylie. I feel sorry for her in one way but she's a 'hasbeen' but then it's never really taken off for her so it would be more correct of me to say she is a 'Never was'.

Please!!! These are two different artists who have their own fan base and also (like me) are fans of both however i would side with Kylie when it comes to being a more down to earth nice person who puts on a good show and actualy sings live compared to a recent tour that Madonna did!!

P.S who's H&M clothes line is selling better?? Mmmmm Kylie me thinks!!!

What can we say about Madonna? Last year she had to the top grossing tour of 2006 and her current H&M line brought in 15 million. Not bad to me. I've not heard what Kylie brought in for her's. Madonna though is a global icon and super megastar, an international icon and superstar.
She absolutely shone in Evita and that rightfully won her a top award. I was at the Confessions Tour last year and she sang live from beginning to finish and played guitar! I only saw snippets from Kylie's tour and even though it looked amazing, it wasn't all that kind on my ears. I've never enjoyed her songs or singing as much but she was nice and pleasant to look at.
I'm so glad like always Madonna insists on writing her own material for each album and gets in there producing it, becoming fully hands on in the process. I like the sound of Kylie's new album too but unfortunately it sounds like there's very little of her involved in it. I read that there are at least 15 different people writing songs for Kylie. But yes, it is good to hear to that M is fully involved with her charity work too. That's one thing about Madonna when it comes to personality is that she is not all mouth and no trousers.
