Video Premiere: Ladytron "Sugar"
Check out "Sugar" by British electro-pop group Ladytron. The single will be released on June 20 and is taken from their forthcoming third album "Witching Hours." A press release describes the album as "wild and unstable (...) which rages with a new unbridled energy." This new single was produced by Jim Abiss (Kasabian, DJ Shadow, Placebo). The single CD and vinyl 12" will include mixes by Jagz Kooner, Playgroup and Archigram. Based on this first track from the new album, Ladytron's distinct goth-chic sound is still very much synth based but has more alternative rock slant that will likely appeal to a larger audience that their existing fan base. 'Witching Hour' will be in stores on August 29.
