Taylor Dayne "Sanctuary"
(Exclusive) Check out a sample from "Sanctuary," a brand-new tune by '80s superstar Taylor Dayne. The singer will be featured in an upcoming reality special "The Remaking of Taylor Dayne" on VH-1 (airs April 21).
In the show, Dayne will once again team up with producer Rodney Jerkins to create some new songs for a come-back. After her hit "Tell It To My Heart," the singer never reached similar chart success but has kept a group of hardcore fans. She devoted herself to Kaballah and lives in Los Angeles with her twins.
"Sanctuary" is a
middle-of-the-road club stomper that features Dayne's phenomenal vocals. I question the song's hit potential, but it is good to see the diva is back to entertain us as a positive role model. (Click here to purchase Taylor Dayne's Greatest Hits album on Amazon.)

actaully it wont be...it was supposed to be the title track of the new album, but sony opted not for it...i dont dig the song all that much and i am a taylor freak...'right now' is far superior in my opinion

Sony is correct to leave "Sanctuary" off Taylor's upcoming CD. The track sounds like an early nineties, Euro-Disco track and would only hurt her career. She's a great Vocalist and with strong, contemporary material she could make a great comeback.
I don't believe that "Right Now" is the track that will propel her back into the limelight either. But with SONY's backing, hopefully she'll find songs that will, once again, make her a Star!

I have the edit of this song, and it is definately one of my favourite taylor tracks along with Cant Get Enough Of Your Love , Tell It To My Heart and As Soon As My Heart Breaks!
