Project Runway Final Episode Music
My post about the Project Runway iMix started a long discussion thread with comments from readers looking for the tunes that were played during the final runway contest of the show. Some of the composers and artists replied with more information about the runway music.
Wendy Pepper chose a tune by new-age singer Lisa Reagan that was played during the presentation of her collection [download MP3].
Runner-up Kara Saun had her own music created (like the shoes in her collection). She chose an instrumental track that was produced by Jason "JFK" Fleming, "an up and coming record producer in Hollywood," and engineered by J. Ali. In a brief phone interview, Fleming told me that Kara's song is called "Fly Girl" and was inspired by her "Aviatrix" collection. Fleming and J. Ali are planning to make the track available via internet and radio.
But where's Jay? I'm still looking for the music from winner Jay McCarroll. Send me a note if you know more. To be continued.

A friend/coworker of mine is friends with Jay we all went out last week to celebrate his win on project runway. I do know for sure that he had his music created for his runway show at fashion week.
I'll try my best to find out more information the next time I see him.

im 100% sure its it
the song is on a mid 90's dance cd my sister has
i heard the song the other week and knew right away where it was from
he only uses a portion of the song
(his song was probably a mix of multiple songs) but its the main part of the song
i'll re post you guys later with the title

I heard this guitar tune a couple of times throughout the first season and also in the last episode. It was played in the part where they show a mini documentary of model Melissa. I want that track SO BADLY! plz help!!!!

I looked at the credits for season 1 and Jay's runway music doesnt have a name, but it was performed by Erin Anderson and Thomas Carson. I cant find it tho!

I have Jay's song. He uses only the intro part of it. you can download it on limewire. the title is "don't stop" by brazilian girls. hope this helps!
