Country singer Billy Currington graces the cover of Playgirl this month. A nice career booster for the sexy Georgia-native who recently got noticed by country fans when he duetted with Shania Twain on "Party For Two."

Currington was reluctant at first to shed some clothes for the magazine."I remember gettin' a call from the publicity guy at the label. He said Playgirl had seen some pictures of me and they wanted to put me in the magazine," the singer tells Atlanta's Creative Loafing. "At first, I was like, 'No way,' you know. As a kid, growin' up, you think of Playgirl as something that's not good, you know. A bad thing. But I talked it over with 'em and I thought about it. I didn't have to get nekkid or anything, so I said, 'Why not?' and I did it."

Being single, the photo shoot will not impact any relationship for Currington. "I'm as single as it gets. No kids, never been married. Been busy, tryin' to work as hard as I can. Hopefully I'll run across the right one someday."
