Remember Diana DeGarmo?
Does anybody remember Diana DeGarmo? Yes, the tiny girl with the big voice who came second in last year's "American Idol" race. DeGarmo, 16, quietly released her her solo debut "Blue Skies" in December.
The first single "Emotional" [Real] [Windows] [Quicktime] was produced by Clive Davis and is a safe, run-of-the-mill pop ballad that will surely capture the hearts of many teenage fans. Floating somewhere between Nickelodeon and VH1, it becomes painfully clear why DeGarmo did not win the singing competition. Her young voice falls flat and is lost in the mature production of the song (especially in the chorus). Listen and decide for yourself.

I discovered this song on the internet about a month ago, this is a cover of a song originally sung by Michelle McManus. Michelle was the winner of the second series of the UK version of American Idol. If you think this is half-decent, i recommend you look up the original by Michelle.

If Diana was so great. Why did she sell less CD than Justin. Amercia picked the right person, Fantasia. Fantasia is doing great. Simon even said that the right person won.
Diana who? Where is she now? We will never hear from her again, neither will we hear from Ruben.
