Sexy "Call On Me" EP Now Available on iTunes

"Call on Me" by Swedish DJ Eric Prydz is a deliciously sexy track and by far one of the hottest dance tracks to come out this year. The tune has been hovering steady at the top of the U.K. pop charts for a number of weeks now. An EP with remixes of "Call On Me" is now available on iTunes in the U.S. as well.
The popularity of the song cannot only be credited to its pumping bassline and instantly infectious chorus. The tune's steamy video has been making waves as well. The '80-inspired video (think Olivia Newton-John’s "Physical") features sexy and scantily-clad gymnasts working out in an aerobics class.
The track uses a sample from Steve Winwood's hit "Valerie" ("Call on me, I'm the same boy I used to be"). When Winwood heard a bootleg of the song's mix he liked the idea so much that he contacted Prydz to re-record the sample for the final cut of the single.
Not much has been published about Eric Prydz career as a musician. He grew up in Stockholm, Sweden and started making music when he was nine. As a teenager, he played his keyboard and soon started producing songs for other DJs. Currently, he is part of the Ministry of Sound's influential roster of DJs and club events.
