Latter Days Soundtrack

Centaur Records will be releasing the official "Latter Days" soundtrack later this month. The album counts 17 tracks including songs by pop rock outfit Toad The Wet Sprocket ("Windmills"), gospel vocalist Heather Floyd ("Abide With Me") and folk singer Shannon Moore ("Hymn For Those Left Behind").
The movie tells the story about the young Mormon Christian who travels to Los Angeles and falls in love with Aaron, a typical California gay boy with hard-bodied good looks. Their secret love creates a stirring conflict between Christian and his conservative upbringing. Towleroad wrote earlier about the movie and actor Steven Sandvoss. The movie will be released on video on September 7.
Composer Eric Allaman wrote a number of instrumental pieces for the album that he calls "techno and electronica music." In addition, Allaman co-wrote four songs with the movie's writer and director C. Jay for the film.
The soundtrack features almost all original music from the movie with the exception of "Windmills" and the new versions of "Prelude In C" and "Abide With Me" (which is a Latter Days Saints hymn).
The entire tracklisting of the "Latter Days" soundtrack:
1 Arrival in LA - Eric Allaman
2 More - Nita Whitaker
3 Night Vision - Eric Allaman
4 Man on a Mission - Bobby Joyner
5 Shirts & Skins - Eric Allaman
6 If I Could Be With You Now - Dean Nolen & Bobby Joyner

12 Abide With Me - Heather Floyd
13 Aversion Therapy - Eric Allaman

Hey, I fell in love with the voice of Rebekah Jordan. I love Tuesday 3am. Where can i get Rebekah's version?

Jason,
Abide with Me is a lovely hymn. especially the version recorded by the mormon tabernacle choir. I'm not totally certain what you meant by your comment.
I cannot wait for heather's version on cd.

Umm besides the fact that in your Synopsis you have it Reversed...it isn't Christian that goes to LA, it is Aaron, Christian is the one with the rock hard bod ;). Besides that though, this movie was incredible, and I loved the music, I am definately getting the soundtrack as soon as possible!

Actually, Aaron is the Mormon and Christian is the California Gay Boy:)

Just to let people know, Rebekah got a recording contract and due to it was unable to perform the 3 songs that she sang in the movie for the soundtrack.

I was really inspired by Steve Sandvoss's performance in this movie that I composed and performed a song for him. You can listen to it on the Steve Sandvoss Fan Page.

where can i find the song lyris?

Rebekah Jordan is incredible. Check out www.rebekahjordanmusic.com.
She also has a CD out from around 93 or 94 under the name Rebekah called "Remember to Breathe" that I bought when it was released. She had a single that got some radio play called "Sin So Well." I honestly listened to that CD nonstop for years, and still listen to it every couple of months or so now, almost 10 years later.
She's incredible. She has a wonderful voice, yes, but it is dwarfed by her gift as a lyricist and songwriter. Check her out. F'real.
And I don't even work for her camp or anything, I'm just a fan. :-)
