Duran Duran Titles New Album "Astronaut"

Duran Duran has finally unveiled the title of their upcoming new album. The group's eleventh record will be titled "Astronaut" and is currently being recorded in London with producers Dallas Austin and Don Gilmore.

"It's like Kraftwerk meets the Mamas and the Papas," says Duran Duran singer Simon LeBon in next week's issue of Rolling Stone.

The group's web site posted some exclusive photos of the recording sessions:

Rolling Stone previews some of the new tracks: "The new stuff ranges from rock ("We've got Andy Taylor doing actual guitar solos," says LeBon) to disco throwbacks ("Bedroom Toys", featuring Chic's Nile Rodgers) and electropop ("Still Breathing")."

The first single "Reach Up For The (Sunrise)" will be the first single taken from the album. The song is set to impact radio early September. The video, directed by the Polish Brothers, was shot in California, Ibiza and London.
